Dr. Gary To is a biomedical engineer and medical device consultant with more than 20 years of experience developing innovative surgical technologies. He has guided multiple products from early concept through FDA 510(k) clearance, and market launch. His work spans patient-specific instrumentation and implants, surgical navigation systems, medical electronics, and advanced manufacturing methods for implantable devices, with a focus on bridging the gap between engineering innovation and clinical application.
Gary has co-founded medtech startups and collaborated with surgeons, researchers, and industry teams to accelerate development while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. He is an inventor on several patents, seasoned in drafting intellectual property to protect novel technologies, and has published research on biomedical sensing, orthopedic biomechanics, and surgical instrumentation.
